MEET. Our Leadership team
Hello, I'm Eliot Diamond
Vice President, Physician Relations
When did you join Hello Health?
September 2010
What was the opportunity/challenge that appealed to you most?
I want to be in the forefront of putting physicians and patients back in control of healthcare.
What particular leadership skills do you use everyday?
I try very hard to lead by example. I would never ask someone to do something that I myself am unwilling to do.
What past experience best prepared you for your role at Hello Health?
My many years of experience in managing medical practices and working with physicians have shown me how difficult the challenges of medicine are. This experience has given me a number of tools that can help both physicians and patients.
Finish this sentence: I know I’ll have met my own expectations here when _________?
Healthcare is back in the hands of patients and physicians and not controlled by insurance and/or government.
Do you have a professional hero?
I would say Dale Carnegie. He had an uncanny ability to understand people and motivate them. He was also able to show them how to control negative emotions and feelings that hinder personal development.
A Tuesday afternoon meeting is cancelled at the last minute. How do you spend the unexpectedly free time?
I would spend the time strategizing. I frequently work such long hours that it is difficult to find time to just sit and think about what I could do better.
Richard Branson once said: “I’m not in the airline business. I’m in the business of entertainment at 32,000 feet.” Can you redefine what Hello Health does in a similar way?
Hello Health creates an environment where an individual can use simple technology to improve their lives with regards to interacting with their personal physicians and managing their health.
Favorite movie of all time and why.
My favorite has to be The Godfather. It is a very insightful look at organized crime and features some of the best actors of our time like Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, James Caan and Diane Keaton.
Favorite Seinfeld or Simpsons episode.
I love the Seinfeld episode about the girl Jerry is dating who has “Man Hands”. Very funny….
