MEET. Our Leadership team
Hello, I'm Joan Chandonnet
Vice President, Finance
When did you join Hello Health?
October 2009
What was the opportunity/challenge that appealed to you most?
After 10 years on the sidelines as a consultant I wanted to jump into the game and be part of the team.
What particular leadership skills do you use everyday?
My ability to adapt to change and look for better ways to do things in a constantly changing environment.
What past experience best prepared you for your role at Hello Health?
My many years of experience in companies undergoing major changes (start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring) both as part of the management team and as a consultant.
Finish this sentence: I know I’ll have met my own expectations here when _________?
My biggest worry is how to save on income taxes.
Do you have a professional hero?
My heroes are people I meet every day who by their example, their attitude, and their words are sources of inspiration.
A Tuesday afternoon meeting is canceled at the last minute. How do you spend the unexpectedly free time?
Think. Think about what’s currently going on; think about what’s coming up next; think about how we could do things better. With my current workload it is sometimes hard to find the time to think so a canceled meeting is a Godsend.
Richard Branson once said: “I’m not in the airline business. I’m in the business of entertainment at 32,000 feet.” Can you redefine what Hello Health does in a similar way?
Hello Health is not a software provider. It is in the business of healthcare provider makeovers enabled by technology.
Favorite movie of all time and why.
Forrest Gump – with a positive attitude anything can happen.
Favorite Seinfeld or Simpsons episode.
I never watch these shows
