How it Works
Everyday technologies like the Internet make running your own direct-pay practice possible. Hello Health makes it happen with all the tools and support you need to successfully transition to a new model while managing the 1,001 daily details of delivering great health care.
3 Steps to Freedom
Step 1
Sit down, virtually or in-person, with a Hello Health practice consultant.
Your practice consultant is your go-to Hello Health professional. He or she will help you frame out exactly how you want your practice to work. For example:
- What will your clinic hours be?
- How do you want patients to contact you?
- Which appointment options do you want to provide?
- In-person office appointments? House calls?
- Virtual exams and email Q&A access?
You set the policies and procedures. The only system you have to follow is yours. That applies to reimbursement, too. You’ll need to decide if you want your patients to pay:
- A membership fee
- By the hour or visit
- Some combination of the two
Step 2
Setting up your Hello Health Practice Hub.
Your Hello Health Practice Hub is how you turn your dream practice into reality. It connects you, your patients and processes via one secure and intuitively designed website. Simply log-in and use it for:
- Scheduling appointments (virtual or in-person)
- Reviewing and sharing EMRs, test results and diagnoses with patients and other care providers
- Prescription writing and management
- Billing and payment collection (via credit card)
- Single source documenting, archiving and record retrieval
Once you decide how you want your practice to operate, your Hello Health consultant will set up your Practice Hub site for you and brand it with your practice name and identity. Rest assured, Title II HIPAA compliance is built in.
Step 3
Build your patient base using our Patient Outreach Program. It leverages social media such as Twitter and Facebook; a dedicated, Hello Health-provided Community Manager, our Best Practices physician forum and the Hello Health Marketing Toolkit. Materials include:
- In-practice, patient education literature and signage
- Direct marketing materials and how-to
- Email templates
- Referral materials so happy patients can share their experiences with friends and family
- Public relations tips for building buzz and interest among local media outlets
