Our Patient Portal and the Hello Health Business Model
Our EHR is available to pediatricians at no-cost, and includes a robust patient portal. Patients pay a small monthly fee for access to the portal. A portion of the subscription fee goes to Hello Health; the rest goes to the practice. Patients love the portal because they can schedule appointments online (or from an iPhone), exchange secure messages with the doctor's office, request prescription renewals, and download or print their personal health record. Parents/guardians can access the portal, but each practice can establish privacy standards for pre-teen and teen-age patients.
